In this course, I break down every step I take to learn a new language quickly. Inside you’ll find insights, tutorials, and actionable steps from over 10 years experience in language teaching and learning.

This isn’t your typical language course – rather than your typical Danish teacher, I will be your Danish personal coach, helping you lay out your path to success, and giving you support and feedback every step of the way to make sure you achieve your goals.

This module is all about developing the ability to express yourself, as quickly as possible.

We break down the sound of the language to build a solid foundation, discover tricks to rapidly expand our vocabulary, and learn how to form sentences so that we can express ourselves and start having conversations.

  2. Pronunciation foundation drills with feedback – learn to recognise and reproduce the sounds of Danish so that you can hear, understand, and be understood.
  3. Rapid vocabulary expansion
  4. How to speak – forming sentences and tricks to get you confident in your first conversations

In this module, you will take all the fundamental skills you have learnt and start to put them into practice in guided sessions.

  1. Daily speaking tasks – our online platform will provide you with opportunities to speak every day, at a time that suits you. You will take part in guided online conversations that will allow you the time and confidence to develop your ability to express yourself. You will then receive personalised feedback with areas to focus your next practice sessions on.
  2. Live conversation – twice a week we host a live guided conversation class, where you will put your skills into practice in a more real world scenario. Each session is designed to take your speaking up a level, getting you comfortable in speaking off the cuff.

Pronunciation Perfection

No more switching to English

Ask anyone what is the most difficult thing about Danish, and they will likely reply with one thing: pronunciation.

Let’s face it – it doesn’t matter how many words you know in Danish, or how well you can read it – if you can’t understand people when they speak to you, you will never feel fluent.

This course demystifies the Danish language – breaking it down into its sounds and melodies and teaching you how to finally understand, and be understood.

You will learn how to hear all the different sounds of Danish, how to produce them, and receive personalised feedback to ensure you are on the right path. No more switching to English.

Time to wrap your tongue around all those weird Danish sounds. This module breaks down all the sounds, with videos to show you exactly how to produce them, and feedback on your work.

Learn how to distinguish the different Danish vowel sounds, and how to reproduce the sounds so that you can speak clearly and understandably.

This module breaks the sounds down into different categories, with drills to practise hearing and pronunciation and personalised feedback to fine tune your language skills.

Language is more than just the individual sounds, it is also about how those sounds are put together in a unique “music” or prosody. Learn how to replicate the music of Danish, so that you can flow like a local.

Now we take what we have learnt and put it into practice. By the end of this module, you will be able to speak full Danish phrases with perfect pronunciation and a natural flow. Suddenly the language will start to make sense – you can catch the rhythm and don’t feel like you are drowning anymore.
